Hotel Washington

Hotel Washington, formerly a large family house built at the beginning of the 20th century, is now a full of character, warm and friendly family hotel, located in the quiet but central Museums area.

Hotel Washington is located in Amsterdam near: Hotel Washington is set near Museum square, the biggest square in Amsterdam, surrounded by important museums such as the Rijksmuseum, which is the country’s national art museum, and the Van Gogh Museum, dedicated to the famous Dutch artist, not forgetting the royal Concertgebouw, the concert building. The square was reconstructed in 1999 and in winter it hosts an artificial ice-skating area.

The young, trendy and multicultural neighborhood called De Pijp is also at five minutes from the hotel; here it is possible to visit the picturesque Albertcuyp market and the Heineken museum, and there is plenty of nice, original shops, cafes and ethnic restaurants for all tastes.
